Advance Notice: Remembrance Sunday Road Closure

Residents and visitors are advised that Botley High Street will be temporarily closed to traffic on Sunday 8 November 2026 to allow the annual Remembrance Sunday Parade to take place safely.

The road will be closed between Botley Square and Mortimer Road from 10:50am to 11:15am. Diversion routes will be clearly marked for motorists.

The parade will proceed along Botley High Street to the War Memorial, where the names of the fallen will be read and wreaths laid, followed by a Service of Remembrance at All Saints Church.

We thank residents, businesses and motorists in advance for their patience, understanding and cooperation during this short closure.

We Will Remember Them.
