Botley NeighbourCare

Botley NeighbourCare is a service available for people of all ages in the community of Botley when there is no one else they can call upon to help.

 

NeighbourCare plays a key role in providing:

 

Personal transport for medical appointments:

Social contact: 

We run the Out to Lunch Club held at the Dolphin, Botley Square once a month, with transport provided, if required. Our clients enjoy the company of others which helps to reduce loneliness and isolation.

The Botley MiniBus

We also have the Botley Mini Bus, which is available for hire to local non-profit-making groups or organisations.

• Hirers must provide their own driver aged 25 – 69 (70 – 74 if they have a D1 licence) in good health and with no more than 3 points on their licence.
• We provide a short induction and driving session for first time users. Please allow a minimum of one week’s notice for this process.
• User groups must be non-profit-making, we can include family groups.
• Charges start at £25 per day, or part thereof, plus mileage.
